Course Description

This course provides an examination of three responses to crime (the retributive, the restorative, and the rehabilitative) and assesses these approaches in fulfilling the needs of various stakeholders including victims, offenders, and communities. This course, steeped in the social justice traditions echoed by our College mission, is open to all students including non-majors. Prerequisite: CJ 100 Introduction to Criminal Justice or instructor approval
