Course Description
This course provides health assessment skills and basic knowledge of diagnostic measurement to associate-degree prepared nurses. Students will learn how to obtain comprehensive health histories, conduct systems-based physical examinations, and demonstrate an understanding of diagnostic measures in the evaluation of diverse clients. Content related to the identification of problems, symptoms, and abnormal findings will be linked to underlying pathophysiology. (4 credits, 8 weeks) (PLO 2, Domains 1, 2).
