This course introduces the importance of nursing research and nursing theories and is designed to enable the practicing nurse to understand the interrelationships between nursing research and nursing practice. Importance is placed on the examination of research methodology, the critical evaluation of published research, and the assimilation of research into evidence-based practice. Capstone project development will begin in this course.
