Course Description
This course explores the historical perspectives of women and men in the context of economic development and the family as an economic unit. Occupational characteristics at all levels of economic activity are analyzed with particular attention given to an evaluation of the traditional division of the labor force and the impact on labor supply while comparing and contrasting labor markets of various development levels.
