Course Description

Based on the student's individual professional goals, the student will elect to specialize in the areas of nursing administration/leadership, critical care, gerontology, etc. Under the guidance of a mentor, the student will apply nursing, management, and role theories in the health care setting. (Practice component of 80 hours).Pre-req or Co-req NU 623 All graduate nursing courses for the master's degree in nursing leadership must be completed except for one course which may be taken in the same semester as NU 627.
