Course Description
The principles of general pathology in relationship to disease of the teeth, soft tissues, and supporting structures of the oral cavity are the focus of this course. The importance of early recognition of abnormal conditions in the mouth is emphasized. Inflammation and healing, growth disturbances, blood and lymph nodes, GI an urinary tracts, the endocrine system and microbiologic diseases will be discussed. Pre-requisite: DH 105, DH 106 and DH 170
